Q3. Please provide any correspondence, reports, or assessments held by the Food Standards Agency related to the outcomes of Arla’s Bovaer trial, including data on its impact on milk safety, animal health, or methane reduction.
Q4. Has the FSA received or responded to any other inquiries, complaints, or FOI requests regarding Arla’s use of Bovaer since December 2024, and if so, please provide copies of these communications (with personal data redacted as necessary)?
Response
Food Standards Scotland (FSS) do not hold any information or any communications in relation to the first 3 questions of the request.
The redacted correspondence we have provided relates only to question 4, although this is correspondence that has been received and replied to by FSS, not the Food Standards Agency (FSA).
FSS responded to a previous FOI request for ‘Bovaer added to Cows food’ on 16th December 2024. The response can be found here.
